Re: Help with wound healing.

Hi Bkrisp,

I just talked to Uny and she reminded me that Slippery Elm would be good for your cut.  It will grow skin back so if you've got some you could mix it with aloe gel to make a thick paste, slather it on and let it dry and don't wash it off.  Or you could make a paste with just water.  Don't know why I didn't think of it myself lol!  I've used it as a paste for mosquito bites that will swell up really big and get nasty if I didn't pack it with the Slippery Elm paste.  When I use the paste on a bite, the next morning I can hardly tell where it was, it's that good!

If you don't have any Slippery Elm Uny said to make a paste of cayenne powder and aloe gel and let that dry and leave it on.  She said that will work wonders too.

The Deep Tissue Repair Oil shouldn't really be used on an open wound. It's more for muscle soreness/tightness and things like bruises, I LOVE that stuff for when my shoulders get really tense.

Hope this helps.

Willow
