I'm sorry to hear that you cut yourself, especially while trying to get Christmas dinner on the table!

I use cayenne powder every time I cut myself and it works wonders but I've not had a deep cut (knock on some wood lol). I've yet to have a scar when I've used the powder but I always put a band-aid over the cut with the powder underneath it and left it overnight.

You say you've been keeping an aloe leaf on it.  Do you mean the actual leaf or did you cut the leaf open and get the gel out and use the gel? I would think that the gel would be your best bet for no scarring but it has to be the gel and not the leaf.  I've also used aloe gel for cuts and it's always left no scar but I would think that would depend on how badly you were cut.  I've been very fortunate in that I've not had a bad one.

Of course you can't go wrong with the Deep Tissue Repair Oil, that stuff is da bomb, and the BF&C too!
