Thanks for the info on the brown rice, Jaz. I did not know that it needed to be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. The article says brown rice will keep fresh for about six months in there.
Also, thanks for the heads-up on the arsenic tainting of non-organic brown rice (from cotton farming).
