Re: EC = Candida Albicans in bowel ? Who tried a Candida diet?

Hi

I'm new to this forum, but have been following it for about 2,5 years. First off I do have EC, I did have several dermatologists confirm it and my symptoms are pretty much identical to yours.

In the past I've let a dermatologist take a swab off my lips to check for any infections. It appeared that Candida overgrowth WAS present (and nothing else major), but they told me it was nothing to worry about since it's a commensal organism that won't harm our body (in principle this is true). I highly suspect it's still present and is still a cause for my EC.

4 Months ago I _strictly_ followed MontrealHomegrown's diet and I definately had a positive effect (the peeling cycle slowing from 3 days to 7 days) after 4 weeks, which lasted for the 8 week duration that I followed the diet. After the 8 weeks, EC slowly returned to the 'normal' cycle of around 4-5 days now.

So I think that the new Candida-free feeding scheme that warriorqueen followed could have a positive effect for me too, so I will start following it after some time (I am still about 4 Kg's (8 ounces) underweight from Montreal's diet) when I regain my weight.

Cheers,
Michel
