Re: Could no carbs be preventing us from being cured?

We share similar stories, guys. I didn't know what was to be tired until April 2008, after the Antibiotic nightmare. I was given several Antibiotic rounds by mistake to clear an UTI that never was bacterial. It was candida that penetrates in my UT after intercourse with my ex-wife. The last Antibiotic round was 28 days on Levaquin. That one was the real killer. After that, the man I was disappered forever. I lost 45 pounds in 3 months and had diarrhea for more than 3 months. The price I am paying for those Antibiotics is the highest a man can pay. I lost my well paid job, my marriage, my hapiness, my life. All this means candida in the intestines after a medical mistake. All this is the result of no having any warning in the antibiotic boxes. It was during the 70s when those MDs discovered it and I was given several antibiotic rounds in 2008, 20 years later without any warning. I have many reasons to be very upset with it, and have had moments where I wanted to shoot the Dr who gave me this MF Antibiotics but thinking abouit it, I know he doesn't know anything about the damage the Antibiotics do. The medical school don't teach Drs about intestinal candidiasis. I am praying to find a solution to it because I see the end of my life if it isn't possible. That is the worst part of all this. It isn't the damage the antibiotics cause but the reality there isn't known solution to this tragedy. We even have to face the medical field ignoring it.On the other hand, I will tell you it is possible to recover. I have felt it two times since the problem began. Both times were after months of antifungals and "diet". But, I have to be honest, I have never followed a diet in the way books and experts advice. I have had a partial diet where I have cheated and added some prohibit things. It may be the cause of my failure. In fact, there was a moment where I ate almost normal again, bread, ice cream, pizza, etc. I felt so good 1 month that went to the gym and was really hungry all the time. Unfortunately, It was a month, and after that I relapsed. This last time, it has been longer than before to reach a point where I feel better. My mistake was to open the diet and quick the treatment. Who knows ?? I say it was my mistake but I don't know. Anyway, this time I will stick with the program long term even I feel better than ever.
Jorge.
