Re: Quickie on Iodine

here is my two cents:

selenium in the form selenomethione 200mcg, some people say more can be helpful

magnesium, I personally think oxide isn't a great choice
Mag malate is usually recommended on this forum esp a company out of canada AOR

Vitamin C--3 g day

b's: a complex is good foundation and the Iodine docs are recommending b2/3 to help correct transport problems:
* 500 mg niacin (B3) and 100 mg Vitamin B2(NOT niacinamide) 2-3 times a day .
or
ATP Cofactors as an alternative.

read Iodine protocol at breastcancerchoices.org:
salt flushing and bromide stuff

some people have immediate changes, some have organification problems or symporter defect and needs time to heal, some have really high bromide and need to clear that, so some of the supps help with those issues and detox issues

it is debatable if any are not needed. Iodine support forum for more on that.....

good luck with it
