Silver will uptake into plants?!?

Whoa! I didn't know silver, or any macro-metallics, would uptake into a plant's system. I thought a plant by-passed toxic soils. This might need a whole 'nother posting. Fill me in. I've used silver colloid on plant soils and it really whacked back the mold and fungus, especially handy on indoor plants. And I've used silver water in vegetable water like soaking limp Celery sticks to perk 'em up. So how can I research this? Tweet
