Hello Oceanman,

Activated carbon filtering will remove chlorite.

Chlorite does not evaporate.

Ascorbic acid will remove chlorite if the waters PH is slightly alkaline. It is not effective if the water is acidic.

In water treatment ferrous iron is used to remove chlorite.
