Hey guys, sorry if this seems somewhat like venting. I've been trying to do a 5 day fast for about two months now, but I never can do it!! I always get past day one fine, but for some reason my hunger becomes monstrous, and I just consume everything in sight.
For those of you who have succeeded in fasting 3 or more days, how did you do it? How did you make it past day 2? I just feel frustrated, because I always get myself psyched up and make promises to myself that I'll break the hold food has on me, only to have everything come crashing down on top of me on day two. It's very discouraging and makes me want to stop trying altogether.
If anyone has any tips on how I can make fasting successful, I really would be grateful forever.
