Yep, Julia Gillard is wrong. There was no theft of this material, it was collected by those who had access to it, and given freely to WikiLeaks. Where is the theft?

Politicians like to control the leaks of government documents, in order to discredit their opposition, or people who dare to question what they do.

WikiLeaks is discrediting all of them, and like you say mu-shen, that is a very good thing.
