Yep, I read the link. What it doesn't say is that you don't get to choose a different user number, you get to use "hidden username" or "userX", or your anonymous user number.

I wasn't aware that you could disable search, does this mean that when someone clicks on the user number or name, that the posting history does not show?

I'm going to check it out.
