Going Med-Free

I was started on prescriptions for the treatment of Depression and Bipolar Disorder in late 2003. Sometimes it helped, sometimes it didn't seem to do much of anything.

With my doctor's supervision and approval, I went off my medications around August this year. Other than a few bumps here and there, I've been doing pretty well. I do have a prescription for Clonazepam in case of a bad day, but it's rarely necessary. The majority of my emotional issues seem to have been caused by the insanity of my family, which is less of a problem now that I no longer live with them.

My question is if anyone has any advice about certain foods I should eat more of or less of to help keep my mood more up and regulated. I'd like to state up front that my stomach does not deal with supplements well (I can't usually keep a B-complex down) and that I am NOT interested in taking Lithium Orotate. I'm mostly looking for advice on creating a healthy diet.
