Re: She Loves Her Job
The only difference between man and the rest of the animal kingdom is the insanity that pours forth from us. We are amplified versions of the animal kingdom with the added benefit of a wider array of emotional and mental nuances (mostly fear and anger based in our current society)but with the unique difference of being able to cause incredible harm to ourselves and the rest of the ecosystem.
We have only proven ourselves to be less stable than all the other animals combined.
Our mark upon this planet cannot be hidden over with poetic whistling in the dark by any author no matter how well intended.. We have been measured and we have failed miserably. It is like trying to hide a dung heap with a flower placed over top.
The poem by Emily shoes that we must conquer fear lest we be slaves (in all forms). Our infinite potential is not realized as long as we see ourselves small (disconnected).
We continue to be slaves while we fool ourselves to be otherwise.
The human spirit is no greater than that of a fly or a pig but ego says otherwise. This s the same egoic mind that has created such separation within our psyche and creates massive damage on such a large scale. Once we realize, as Einstein and other great minds did that all living things are equal can we realize our true infinite potential and allow it to expand to the status that Emily was talking about in her poem.
BTW the ingraining and conditioning that is beingingrained choreographed as the collective "human institutionalized destitution," is the exact opposite of what you have prescribed as it's meaning and essence. We are part of a society that conditions a fracturing of the psyche through devices of separation whether through religion, education or other social mechanisms. Ideas that man is somehow better than any other animal is a large part of this warped fracturing of psyche. It is this kind of belief that allows for the entrapment of the human mind to occur so that we remain in bondage to our masters.
Somehow eating a cow while reciting poetry about how lovely we humans are perfectly demonstrates what I am sharing.
Tar tar sauce anyone?
