Abortion of human fetus bad. Slaughtering animals by the truckload...down right delicious...pass the bbq sauce. Then it's off to church to give gratitude to the icon of separation.

"Animals can't be murdered."

Because a made up being said so? We find the same all loving predator, also loved "his" blood sacrifices. "He"/it also loved the idea of a women being subservient. Seems "his" worshipers do too. It goes with the territory. An icon created in their image to support their dysfunction of separation and consumption.

But at least we see how cults create delusional and dysfunctional mindsets that trickle forth into a culture and attempt to define it.

My favorite distortion is how many meat eaters will cite all kinds of dogmatic and questionable research (with money ties to the meat industry) such as intelligence is dependent on eating meat and that vegetarians suffer in regard to their mental faculties. A quick look through some of the Debate Forums does not bear out evidence in that regard. ;-)

Eating meat is a conditioned practice and is not instinctual in humans. But all things can be over ridden with the right influence.

Speak for yourself! Yes I suppose higher aspirations goals ideals compassion morality empathy sympathy trust humility forgiveness are lacking in many, but I am sure, positive, it is because of this base attitude!

You probably won't grasp the significance of this poem but I'm going to place it here any way! The attitude that you promote is a far cry from those of the not so distant past and so contrary to the ideals of people like this and many many others of our American culture ! It is a pathetic epitaph modern man has etched for his future stone ,one of ingrained and choreographed human institutionalized destitution of those who would compare the human spirit to those of a pig! What has become of us, what will become of us?
