Re: Has anyone developed thyroid problems post mirena?

Hello, I also have been having thyroid issues after getting mirena. my doctor said I have graves disease which I never had a problem before mirena with my levels. I am now debating whether to get mirena taken out. They want me to take the radioactive pill to kill my thyroid but If i do that I worry that I will have other issues if I continue using mirena, my husband and I would like one more child at some point my baby is 9 months old so Im worried about the affects of everything. If anyone has any advice whether I should get it taken out and see what happens with my level or what. Thanks
