I feel as you do. I do not particularly agree that the water needs to be alkaline, as the human stomach was designed to operate correctly at a pH range of 2.5 to 4pH,
The trouble comes in when the stomach becomes alkaline, and the digestive tract becomes acidic.
Many ill people have this occurring. where their colon should have a pH of about 8.0, but instead they have a colon with a pH of 5.0

So I believe we should all have a second look at these socalled alkaline diets.

We are not cows which have a normal pH of 6.8- 7.4, which is great for a cow but no so good for a human.
