Re: First flush horrible; worth continuing?

Hi Faster84:

Don't give up on the Liver-Flush yet. I'm by no means experienced. I've only just done my 3rd. It took me years to get up the nerve to do them. I was expecting the worst. But the first one wasn't the ordeal that I had imagined. I had already done the other cleanses and been doing other things to support my body, so that probably helped. I had already detoxed quite a bit over the last year so I'm sure that helped as well. I was a pretty toxic laden puppy. Still am but not near as bad as I was. The advice of the others to do the other cleanses first is very wise. I had already done those.

I know how discouraging it is to feel so toxic. It's pretty miserable. But if you can keep going, that will lessen. On my first flush, I didn't get any stones either. My understanding is that's pretty normal. I also didn't clean out the night before from the Epsom Salts either. So I think that made me feel worse the next day. Plus I couldn't see my results very well (which is always a plus in my opinion!!) :) Mendomaid suggested that I was magnesium deficient which makes sense. Because after that first flush I began to take Natural Calm every night for other reasons and on the next flush I did clean out from ES the night of the flush. It's also important to be hydrated. Some of the symptoms you mention after the flush could be dehydration.

You mention bowel problems too. It's important the day after the flush that you keep moving things out. I try to do the psyllium/bentonite shakes mentioned on the Bowel Cleanse Forum before and after the flush, especially after. A Bowel Cleanse might be a good idea too.

And just because you didn't see stones, doesn't mean it wasn't a successful flush. Whatever you got out of there is better out than in.

Hang in there!
