I have been visiting this website for about six months now since my pinworm infection in April and haven't posted up until now... I don't know why - I guess the fear... not that you're all scary - far from it! Just the admittance of struggling with something so disgusting!

I can totally relate to you re: the experiences you've been having. I took what seems to be Vermox every single week - sometimes every day (twice a day) on and off. I don't even know if my infection has gone - I am still so paranoid about it and wash my hands incessantly and clean all the time and continually checking my 'areas' for any hint of those horrible things.

I still get itching although it's not the same as what it originally was. I don't know if I've irritated my skin from the continual washing. I was using antibacterial handwash and antiseptic wipes.. can't have been good for me?!

How do you even know if these things have gone?!

How does one get over the paranoia about these things and continue to live a normal life? I sometimes.. well, not sometimes, ALWAYS think to myself 'will I ever get a day of not worrying about this'... I'm so fed up with it all. Tweet
