Carbonated mineral water causing hypoglycemic episodes?

Hello people,

I made this observation a few months ago when I started drinking carbonated mineral water somewhat regularly.

Does anyone else find that drinking carbonated mineral water lowers their blood sugar, sometimes pretty strong and quickly?

The mineral waters I've been drinking are "Perrier", and since yesterday I've been trying "S.Pellegrino". They are both the unflavored unsweetened ones, in glass. I don't drink any flavored or sweetened water at all.

The Perrier makes it lower somewhat mildly, but the S.Pellegrino drops it hard.

I drank some S.Pellegrino right now while my blood Sugar was mildly low, and it caused it to crash pretty badly to the point where I am tense and panicky.

I counter this by eating a lot of meat.

Anyone else have similar experiences with these carbonated mineral waters?
