it would probably be a good thing to be brutally honest here, and just recognize that you did not actually do this unconsciously--in fact there were many milliseconds when you *could* have noticed what you were doing. So, there was a decision made...


My point simply being--you made a choice. Better to realize that than to feed yourself (pun noted) the idea that you are capable of doing all sorts of things - by extension of this event - without any awareness...if you reflect on this, you'll agree it only makes you 'weak' and this is not actually what any of us -humans- are, not potentially.
