Another gum abscess come and gone

I have a tooth where the filling fell out (embarrassed to say) over a year ago. I've been lazy about it because a) I hate dentists and b) any time it's gotten painful or infected it's always been easy to cure. A combination of swishing Colloidal Silver and oil pulling with a few drops of oregano always seems to work.

Last week i woke up with a large bulbous abscess on the gums near the tooth probably an inch long. Started reading up and it turned out the only thing to do for an abscess is pull the tooth, root canal, or some were saying in the most mild cases you could try lancing the gum, though it's a dangerous thing to try yourself.

I was doing the oil pulling and Colloidal Silver thing for two days and the abscess wasn't going away. I decided to get some temp filling to plug up the tooth and the giant abscess was gone without a trace the next day. No lancing, no root canal and no tooth pulling.

Several teeth were pulled in my youth because of the appearance of a gum abscess - it was the automatic treatment at the time. These days they also push root canals since they're even more expensive.

But don't fall for it until you've tried Oil Pulling and Colloidal Silver . Saved my tooth, much agony, and lots of money.
