Re: Starting a 40days water fast.......

Hi Jesus and All Fasters

I am going to fast with you but, unfortunately, tomorrow Nov 21 is my first day. I have fasted before to achieve a better health but never for 40 days. I broke my last short fast a month ago but I still need to fast more to clear my sinuses for good.

I am really desperate to start this fast and finish it not earlier than a true hunger returns. I want my health back; That is why I believe I will be fasting for at least 40 days. I simply want to ski without being flooded by my own mucus as my nose reminds me a turn on water tap. I checked the weather and discovered that this year there is only a very narrow chance for a snow - I will be in a re-feeding mode when a ski season starts in January. I love skiing but I would love skiing with a face wet only from the snow!

I tried to be better prepared to this fast so I generously nourished my body by eating tons of nuts and a lot of fresh, green vegetables as salads and green juices. I have even put on some weight to make sure that I would withstand a long fast. I am 5 feet and 5 inches tall with a mass of 120 Ibs today.

Frankly saying I feel like a small elephant now and am really anxious to start shedding the pounds while healing my chronically inflamed sinuses. What also makes me happy is the fact that I will rebuild my spiritual, mental, and emotional frame because for me a Water Fast is a strong character builder.

I will post every day to make you know how my body reacts and to ask for support. I know that it is going to be a long and demanding fast.
