Katstump, it amazes me that anyone with a modicum of intelligence, would support someone like Sarah Palin. I don't think it has anything to do with her gender, (except for those middle aged men who have fantasies about her), but everything to do with the fact that she is, quite plainly, stupid.

Obviously there are a few blokes that are thinking with other parts of their anatomy, (other than their brains), when they bellow out their support for her. If "sexiness" is the criteria for the position of President in your country, then there is no hope at all for the US.

IMO, if Sarah Palin managed to get into a position of power in the US, the old white blokes, that really run things, would have the perfect puppet, and she would be a stooge for the corporate agenda.
