Re: Running out of options for hypoglycemia
First of all it sounds like you are dealing with both reactive hypoglycemia and chronic hypoglycemia. I discuss these two most common forms here:

Herbs like pollen do contain sugars that will raise the blood sugar and can lead to an insulin response. Same for many of the food you mentioned. This includes the honey you mentioned which does contain various sugars including sucrose.
As for chromium, chromium is not directly hypoglycemic. What chromium does it to reopen closed insulin receptors so that insulin can activate the receptors allowing glucose to exit the blood. It is not like insulin or vanadium that directly lower blood glucose. And chromium polynicotinate is the pereferred form. Chromium is for reactive hypoglycemia though, not chronic hypoglycemia. For the chronic hypoglycemia you would need to focus on the adrenals.
I have a simple way to address all these at once. Nettle leaf is a good source of chromium, vitamin C and protein and it supports the adrenal glands. This will give you a smaller level of chromium as well so the receptors can gradually adapt. You could combine some chlorella or spirulina to increase the protein level since chlorella contains over 2 times more protein than beef and spirulina over 4 times the protein content. These herbs are also great magnesium sources, which are also essential for proper blood sugar regulation.
Nettle leaf is also beneficial for the thyroid, liver, kidneys, allergies, bones, connective tissue, nervous system, intestinal flora, etc. Make sure to use the powder, not a tea or tincture.
