Just because she is Martin Luther King Jr's daughter, does not mean she doesn't have her own agenda or is biased by her own personal feelings or emotions on abortion. To say that abortionists are targeting black women and forcing/coercing them to have abortions is simply another emotionally charged abortion myth that is being touted by the anti-abortionists. The fact that Ms. King attests to two abortions and now regrets it says two things about her:

1) She is/was emotionally fragile and is now joined ranks with the antiabortionists to make abortions unavailable simply because she now regrets her choice. She wants to force her choice on others.

2) She was able to choose a legal and safe abortion -- twice. She was not forced to choose to have either the first or the second abortion.

And, I STRONGLY suspect that her religious upbringing has EVERYTHING to do with her regret/guilt. Tweet
