Re: Simply Exhausted
agree with everything Sacristia has written.
It is never recommended to end a
Water Fast in the midst of "crisis". (Whenever there's a low, it will be followed at some point by an upswing.) And of course, crises -which sounds a bit alarming, but shouldn't ususally, can run the range of experiences from mild discomfort to genuine suffering--some people have vomited for a few days, and this I would classify as *very* uncomfortable, challenging -- but it's more the rarity, and always denotes a much-needed clearing.
I had a 'spitting crisis' on my first 29 day WF, that started about day 22, if I remember correctly. Up to then I'd felt pretty good overall, with some very clear and light-hearted days of feeling very good, and then the odd discomforts here and there.
The most recent fast, 26 days was not so enjoyable, and I had a lot of restless leg nights.
You might notice that the healing/house-cleaning effects tend to go in waves of seven. For men, usually a complete larger 'cycle' is 21 days, for women it's 28. So, if that is your experience, you should feel better soon, and might be able to break on day 21. These rhythms do correspond with what the body is doing on a water fast, also, depending on how in tune one is.
I went that first fast to day 29 because I wasn't feeling
really 'good' yet, and probably should have carried on for another six days...
Anyway, all sounds fine...Chris B would ask how your resting heart rate is, and that it's not doing any sudden shifts--aside from what happens with getting up too fast.
Rest as much as possible, but a little walking too, and some gentle, but full breathing can help a LOT. The lungs are one of the largest 'organs of elimination'.
best, Chiron
