Re: Hi! New here...could you guide me?
thyroid problems isn't my main symptom, my main thing is that i am recovering from injuries. along the way i took prednisone, a synthetic hormone. afterwards my skin was totally destroyed, and this showed up in my healing sessions as being somewhat thyroid related. i've done some energy healing work on the thyroid (energy healing is one of the main ways i'm healing my injuries).
the supplements i've taken-
1) nutritional yeast - for the high tyrosine content, and selenium content
(both of which the thyroid needs)
2) tyrosine supplement by solaray (didn't work out for me, i stopped)
3) rejuvedine (my favored form of iodine, http://www.cayceconcepts.com), still taking this.
4) maca root (still taking this), it supposedly stimulates the thyroid
(http://www.thyroid-info.com/articles/macaq&a.htm)
5) coconut oil (good for thyroid, http://www.mercola.com)
My skin is improving quickly. the stiffness in my hands & feet upon waking is gone. I'm hotter than before, i'm never cold, and my thyroid looks better to the healer i work with. The fact that i had a thyroid problem was never obvious to me, i wouldn't have known it if my thyroid hadn't kept getting worked on in my healing sessions. i wrote about it in my blog on curezone, a bit. it took a month or more of taking the rejuvedine, coconut oil, etc., before I noticed a difference. although, i started the iodine before taking anything else, and the stiffness in my hands and feet just took a few days to get better.http://curezone.com/blogs/m.asp?f=375&i=11
other people's accounts on this forum have great info - i got alot out of reading other people's notes!
