Until the foetus is at a viable stage of development it is part of the woman's body. This is precisely why there are laws about late term abortion, (in my country at least).

A foetus would not exist if it were not for the woman's body creating it. A foetus does not grow all by itself, it is the woman that provides all the nutrients necessary for development. Therefore she has the right to end this development if she so chooses, and subject to the laws of the country she lives in.

Until there are artificial wombs available to gestate a foetus, it will remain the choice of the woman who is pregnant.
