First of all, serious congratulations are in order! I was one of those that (rather strongly) suggested that 'bartering a liver flush' might not be such a good idea. But again, I am reminded just how much more intuitive & "in touch" a mother is with her own child than ANY advice or opinion.

I'm SO glad to hear of your daughter's encouraging success...good for both of you!

As far as the burning butt-pee (lol) - I don't know about anyone else, but my husband and I both have serious rectal burning when taking Epsom Salts (over 1 Tablespoon). I think I recall someone else mentioning that as common on the Bowel Cleansing forum (a long while back), but I can't remember who it was. I only recall being extremely relieved to learn that type of burning can be caused by ES, because I've NEVER experienced that level of 'butt burn' before.

I had taken ES internally a few times before, but never over a teaspoon or two. So I wanted to know how my body would react to a dose of 2 Tablespoons...and boy was I ever sorry I found out. (thank heavens for aloe plants!!)
