Re: low stomach acid???

I had low stomach acid from the age of 16 and I still think I do somewhat. It took me years to find out if was probably an h pylori infection. for years I had bad skin dry hair and every time I ate alot of beef or chicken my burps would smell awful. I'm assuming this was because of the low stomach acid which didn't fully digest the protein. I also developed a candida infection after awhile and ibs. This was all due to the lack of stomach acid I believe. Once I couldn't digest my food completely I had a lot of bacteria reaching my gut that shouldn't have. This ended up creating a lot of inflammation which created a very good environment for candida to take hold. My first bit of relief was found when I started eating alot of walnuts on my salads. my skin became clear and not greasy my bowel movements were perfect and I felt great. After awhile I cut back on the walnuts and went back to my normal diet. All my symptoms returned and I felt horrible again. for years I tried to emulate my successes with everything else I was trying to at the time. a good amount of yogurt and a low protein diet with lots of salads and fish oil. Nothing helped like before until a year or two later I found from reading that walnuts had antibacterial and antiviral effects. Unfortunately by this time I had developed ulcers and eating nuts was out of the question because it would cause a lot of pain. Now that my ulcers are about under control I plan on starting them again. From my experience zapping and fish oil and coconut oil are very good for helping with this. The zapping and coconut oil are good for killing the infection and the fish oil works wonders for inflammation that can occur with the infection.
