The calcium from milk products is not very bioavailble to the system. Dark leafy greens are high in calcium. Kale being one with a good bit of calcium. The calcium from leafy greens is a really good source as the body can readily absorb it. If you start juicing dark leafy greens that should help you with your calcium issues. The fried foods thing reminds me of the movie "Super Size Me".
There are lots of things that we know/understand from an intellectual level but when the stress levels kick in all that good knowledge goes out the window and we revert to the old habits. I know from past contributions that you are pretty level headed and will do the right thing so hang tough and percevere and you'll find your way out of the fog.
