Mold and no precise moisture source.

Hi,

I think I have mold in the appartment I am renting. Actually, I could never see it. The walls have been painted recently, and I can find no sign of it except a small smell. My nose has been bleeding since I moved in (almost 2 months ago), and I have some asthma some times (which I did not have again, since I was 14 (and I am 26 now)). My nose is painful and the symptoms last all day, even at work. My nose is a bit better now. I live in the last floor, in an old building. Just under the roof. I have found no "local signs" of moisture on the walls. The air is just humid everywhere i think. And the walls are rottening inside, as I hear sometimes pieces of the wall falling inside the wall.
I cannot move for now, and I don't think the owner will start a big work to get rid of the mold just for me. So I will have to live with it until I can move. I would like to know if I can do anything to survive that thing. Would it be enough to buy an air dehumidifier and clean everything regularly with bleach ?
Also, everything is really clean in the flat. So I really don't know where it can come from. Could it come from the paper of the walls or do I have to concentrate my efforts on the wooden floor.

Thanks
