Re: A Prayer About How Much I Am unLike Peter
This may be a case where the same word is used in different places with different meanings according to the context. I'm not saying I know for sure, just wondering. There are other examples of that though, words used differently.
So, could the word "converted" here have this meaning? We know Peter went down the wrong path by denying Christ (because of fear), but then he was remorseful for that, and he turned around and got back on the right path. Converted does mean "turn around".
I just don't know if a non-converted person would have the remorse he had over what he did. Non-converted people don't seem to care much if they do something contrary to Jesus.
Just my thoughts, may or may not be right. I'm happy at least we know for sure Peter was a converted at least at some point. I like Peter. :)
