i would recommend getting a single auger or twin gear juicer (not the champion) and drink a quart of parsley juice per day. this will take care of wide host of nutritional deficiencies as parsley is about the most nutritious green herb in existence. it will also address the small intestine bacterial issue via extremely oxygen rich chlorophyl, and it will address your lung issues in an oblique manner by oxygenating your system from the inside out.
i would also suggest zinc rich foods like pumpkin seeds, osyters, clams, seafood in general, ceviche in particular.
