never say never, but i have never seen a true emergency as long as i have been reading this forum. nolongerhurting published that she had to have emergency gallbladder surgery in response to a flush and that turned out to be a hoax. there was another woman who had white bm's for a few days, along with pain - that cleared without even doing another flush. capco is the only person i know of in recent history that went to the hospital and actually had something done; the doctors surgically removed stones from his common duct (without removing his gb). he continues to flush, his experience didn't even stop him. other than that, people have had what some people call healing crises, and what others call return of symptoms.

but in all the time i've been reading this forum, only one person that started to flush actually went ahead with gb surgery.

other than that - number of emergency room visits that actually yielded any findings - 1 (capco). number of notes which promoted fear - many.

by the way i don't mean this as a personal knock on you or your note. i think its easy to be fearful about doing things which are different than the norm, and esp. one without a doctor's blessing. and of course, some day it might really be an emergency. and that day might be today, for nbryant. who knows. of course, i do think that Liver Flushing gets the blame for flareups that occur afterwards. somehow it never seems to get said that this condition that the person has is one that they had before flushing.
