Re: i thought this was a support forum

I'm sorry I offended you, that was not my intent.

You have to understand I'm not selling you anything, I am not profitting and I'm actually volunteering my time. Everyone else who seems nicer and more knowledgable, they're just selling you something. Doctors are selling you that their life's work isn't a sham and they are making money off you. Someone selling you a miracle product is doing the exact same thing. And I'm not saying they won't help, I'm saying how much can you trust these people? They have motive to tell you what you want to hear.

At some point you are going to have to ask yourself do you want to "keep it real" by having read every Science article for 3-4 years and be sure there is no cure and no definitive test for what you think you have or are you willing to let go and listen to your body? Just because no test can confirm your problem, you know deep down inside that you are very sick. And guess what, there are tons of other people with the exact same illness! Who cares if there's no test to confirm it, listen to your body, it is telling you you are sick.

All this researching is like the teenage boy who reads all the pickup artist material and reads how to pick up women. He can explain why some guys get women and why other's don't, explaining specifically how it's because women don't understand how nice of a guy he is deep down inside. But the reality is he wants women and he can't get them, so how much does he really know? How much of his advice on women can you trust? It doesn't matter how much Science he has to back it up.

Science is so backwards it's not even funny. ANd keep in mind I graduated from and ivy league school with a degree in engineering.

You can read a thousand times over and over again about how the pheromones of a female cause arousal on a male, and how the chemical reaction triggers the release of seratonin in his brain etc etc. It takes PhD level biochemistry to come close to explaining how that translates in the urge to procreate, but all that Science doesn't explain 1/10th of the feeling a guy gets when he sees a woman he's attracted to. So studying all these candida protocols and looking for the answer outside of you is like seeing a girl you are attracted to, eavesdropping to hear her name, and then googling "How do I get XXX to go out with me".

Then when you never get a date with her, you "keep it real" by scientifically explaining all the factors against you. Now you have an excuse for why you don't have the woman you want, but you got the explanation at the cost of any chance of getting what you want.

But here if you want some science, did you know the Placebo effect itself is stronger than many drugs whose double blind studies illustrate this fact? Do you see that scientifically it means that THINKING you are on a drug that is helpful to you is more powerful than the actual prescription strength pharmaceutical.

Did you know that stress and anxiety actual cause your body to release cortisol and other compounds that cause candida overgrowth? So without anything being ingested, a simple negative thought in your brain causes a physical, scientifically documented reaction that furthers your candida problem. Yes if you want science, try reading the McCombs plan. If you actually read his entire book, you'll notice that not only does he have the yes/no foods list an antifungal, vit C, and requires massive intake of fresh water and sauna use for detoxification. He REQUIRES that you live stress free and listen to your body when you eat any and all foods. The last two are requirements that are scientifically as important, if not more important, than the more tangible/physical aspects of the plan.
