Re: salt vs potassium

"but I would never reccomend it to someone that has any kind of palpitation problem whatsoever; as this can contribute to a worsening."

Or, it can eliminate palpitations, so in some instances, it would be the correct choice to recommend K. So, I'd never say, that I'd never recommend it.

Fact is, most folks are deficient in K, for reasons well known to some. I didn't make it that way, its just the way it is. Feeding more sodium to myself if I were already overloaded with it to the point that hormoone metabolism is effected, just isn't something I would do, although I respect the choice of others to do as they wish.

"Himalayan salt" means nothing to me, any more than does "American Salt" or "Canadian Salt" When talking about mixtures of metal halides and carbonates, one speaks with most definiteness when the exact materials and their exact amounts are specified. :)

You all need to take this seriously, and don't go thinkin you all know it all, and get upset or defensive at me or challenge me, and me comin on here talking about this is a good thing, cuz ya all is OD'd on sodium and its a hidden cause and co-factor of many of folks' problems.
