Re: A-men

Legalism

Because the ten commandments is part of the Law of Moses, which we died to. And scripture tells us if we live by the law, and yet break one point of it, we are guilty of all.

King James Bible
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one [point], he is guilty of all.

Romans 6:14
14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

If we are abiding in Christ, sin is no longer our master. We don't have to have the law as our schoolmaster.

Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Gal 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Gal 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

We can't even have good works, or good fruit, until we die to the law.

Romans 7:4
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, [even] to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Those trying to keep the law are the ones diluted.
