its a mini version of what the gov(another criminal enterprise) does to all of us as the opportunity arises. heath ledger was worth more dead than alive because of the now iconic joker role and the buzz created for that resulting in an oscar. david carradine was worth more dead because of insurance on the films he was making(some still set for release). lohan and spears are easy targets. and then there is this guy:
