Re: Goiter issues
Thanks for the advice. Is the nutritional yeast okay if I'm also battling candida?
I recently discovered that I have an intolerance to gluten, and then read that gluten-intolerance and thyroid issues are very closely linked. It went so far to suggest that anyone with thyroid issues should test to see if they are gluten-intolerant. In an article about subclinical gluten-intolerance and thyroid, it noted that for some peoole who adhered to the gluten-free diet for 3-6 months, the antibodies that result in the autoimmune attack against various glands/organs such as the thyroid, would actually disappear. Hopefully, this would mean an end to the symptoms. For others with full-blown celiac disease, this may not be the case, but it could still help the thyroid I would think. I have cut out gluten, but it has only been a couple of weeks, so I will have to see if it helps. I know my digestion is tons better.
I have been using the coconut oil for awhile now, but I can't take it by the spoonful, so I just cook everything with some of it, and I also blend it in smoothies.
I will have to look into the rejuvedine and the tyrosine. This all makes me very hopeful.
