I just remembered about the pupil test, i was told about, and used to do awhile back to test my adrenals.
If you are not familiar with it, you look in a mirror looking straight ahead and shine a torch side ways on to the pupils. If they enlarge quickly and fluctuate, that is sign of poor adrenal health.
Hv, do you agree with this?
I have not seen a good explanation of how this could work. Basically pupil contraction and dilation are controlled by norepinephrine and acetylcholine. Norepinephrine dialtes the pupils and acetylcholine contracts them. Although norepinephrine is released from the adrenals it is also released from noradrenergic neurons. So pupil response is not solely regulated by the adrenals.
