"Under Pressure" of Homelessness




When you've got two Kermit puppets breaking out into Queen and David Bowie's song "Under Pressure," the video's bound to go viral. But when the clip first hit the web, the real focus was on the puppeteer, who sits next to a sign reading "Family in need with 2 kids homeless + out of work". Though a link in the video's description pointed to a site listing nonprofits to help the homeless, YouTube commenters wanted to know how to help him, specifically. The man in question, Sky Soleil, eventually updated the video's description to point out, "I am a performer. I have a roof over my head and I have yet to start my own family." The video's goal, he wrote, was to increase homelessness awareness. Even if the "homeless" part was a sham, the video is still entertaining — particularly when the David Bowie and Freddie Mercury Kermits go bonkers at the song's cllmax — and, hopefully, some viewers took the time to donate to charity.
