I figure that I won't waste my time and energy "casting pearls before swine."
For the most part, I don't report what I do to my doctor. He works for me, and I am responsible for my health. I use his service to check things out and give me feedback on my health status. I don't use him for solutions unless I have determined I need a prescription (which is almost never). And I don't let them pump me with anything! Also, I know he knows a lot, and I consider his advice, and I just might follow it if it makes sense.
And my doctor is toward the more decent side, but I still don't set myself up for undue irritiation. They might think it's their "right and duty" to know everything you do, but that's only if we give over our sovreignity to them, which I don't do.
Try not to let it get to you -- he's not worth it!
