scroll through the "soil and health..", and see what catches your eye. I also read a great book by an MD who was literally dying of colitis, and then fasted his way back to health, and he and his family changed their diet and lifestyle utterly, to follow the principles of Natural Hygiene. I've forgotten his name, sadly... but maybe someone else will read this and recall it. It was entirely inspiring.

Look into Herbert Shelton , (I believe that's Chris' 'go- to' author of choice); also Carrington, and Dr. Bass, who's still alive and has a website. A very colourful fellow. :-)

Atone time I hoped to get a single R'd thread going, in which people would post their top-rated readings...Not sure what exactly came of that. The info seems piecemeal. You can really get lost in the Soil and health Library-- I did! and read a lo tof fabulous stuff on Natural Hygiene, permaculture, etc. It's an amazing gift, that site. I was floored to realize how much of this material/knowledge existed, and how invisible it had all been.
