Re: Looking for a good oral surgeon proficient in cavitation stuff...
I apologize. I just saw this message. I don't get notified by email for some reason. Here is M. Cortes website...
http://www.cosmetic-laser-dentistry-new-york.com/
I wrote to them and asked if the doctor uses laser to operate on jaw infections, osteo myelitis, osteo necrosis, NICO, etc....I avoid using the word cavitation because dentists can get in trouble for some damn reason. But it's the same issue
It was my doctor who talked about the radioactive dye. I've not actually talked to Dr. Adams, only his receptionist who said they have their patients bone scans done at another place, the name of which I forget. But here is his info....

I would start by seeing if any Maxillofacial surgeons in your area take your insurance and try to talk to a nurse about jaw pathology and see if you can't get as much done under insurance as possible. Even X rays are a start.
I want to get another cavitat scan and a bone scan.....
I'm sorry you have MCS, but there are bone scans done without the dye I hear. There is a machine. iCat....it's supposedly better than a cat scan or MRI. I can't vouch.
