Re: Mobile Revival/Brownsville Revival
William Branham never wrote a book, but his best friend that is still alive today, took his materials from what he said to people ad put it in book form. William Branham read the material and agreed that is what he teached and said to call it the seven church ages. I think I even have that book on the old website materials, etc.....and is a great book to read that explains the CHURCH, from the first church to the present age.
Where do the pastors get their education? COLLEGES and who supports those COLLEGES? More often than not, MEDICAL.....all colleges can't resist the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ that medical throws at them in exchange for allowing them to build buildings on campus that teaches medical ways.
That and this 1 simple fact, if a pastor is not good at getting the people to give up that 10% each week, the church will throw him out....he has a job to do and that job means they need enough $$$$ to keep afloat.
Otherwise the key problem is with humans......each human has their own ways, own opinions and more often than not,,they get greedy when it comes to free $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$....
A local pastor about 20 years ago reported to the sherrif that he was robbed. He sad sunday's $$$ was stolen along with his 3 pistols that he had behind the pulpit where the $$$ was kept.................it ended up an adopted child of theirs stole the $$$$ as a way to run away from the preacher. The funny thing was this church was one of the more bazzarr churches that DEMANDS you turn in your paycheck stub to the church every sunday and you MUST give 10% every sunday if you wish to go to that church...
Churches can be very good for every community, but like all businesses, they can be no better than the ones that lead them.
