Re: Vegetarianism is Unnatural

Very intresting argument although there are several flaws as the author is trying to prove that humans are carnivors.
first point the few incisors that humans have cannot rip flesh apart and I challenge the author to do so and post it on youtube and bite the ass of a cow and see what flesh he can rip up. I would love to see any so called human omnivores do just that. Therefore the arguement that humans have teeth like other carnivores is invalid. Humans do not have teeth like carnivores humans have mostly molars (one can count many more molars than incisors) so just by counting teeth we are not carnivores.

Point two the author mentions that we do not have a digestive tract like herbivores. Well do we have a diestive tract like a carnivore? hmm first of all our digestive tract is over 30 ft long how long is a carnivore's well hmm its short ... so just by measuring the digestive tract we know we are not carnivores. Another point is digestive fluids humans have HCL which diminishes with age now carnivores have much more powerful digestive fluids. take a snake for example it digests bones, feathers, claws, teeth etc. I have never digested any thing like that except one filling that fell out. Although I dont believe I digested it I just pooped it out.I have never ever seen any human eat like a pure carnivore ever. In fact, I would be happy to see an expermint to see if HCL could even break down these types of substances. Let alone trying to swallow them without puncturing your throat or some other important organ like your stomach.
so the arguement that HCL digests flesh and other herbivore parts is invalid.
one thing is true however and that is a person who gets sick can be experencing an enzyme defeciency a lack of papain or bromelain could give some carnivore a hard time with digestion. Now on the other and a vegetarian who eats enzyme rich foods in raw foods like carrots, pineapple, and papaya would not have this problem as the prepackaged fruits and vegetables are somewhat predigested if you will because of all the wonderful enzymes that are contained within.
In conclusion, its obvious by looking at anatomy, and physiology of humans and comparing them to carnivores that the two species are entirely different. Not to mention the food sources of the two species are specifically designed for their own species.
