I think you're right Trapper, it's only a matter of time..
All the more reason to complete this idea, say I.

It's not a perfect solution, but it could help those in the area who can't leave for some reason.

I think running all incoming air through an activated charcoal filter would be a good idea.

I know there are all kinds of widgets and gadgets out there which for a small or large fortune could be built into a place like this, but I think it's better initially to set things up with very basic stuff, whenever possible. And with the idea that whoever is in it is likely too sick to do much for themselves, so it should be easy to do.

The power cords of items requiring electricity can be duct-taped through the chamber walls, etc.

Then you can get decorative from there.
