Re: Pre oral surgery without antibiotics?

I've been having bad sensitivity on one side of mouth for weeks, and now been told i've got to have surgery to take a really awkward back tooth out. The xray showed the tip of root was like a tick shape, so not straightforward, and will probably have to cut the gum to get it all out. I'm not really sure what they will have to do though.

I was not told to take Antibiotics though. I don't like taking pain killers, but it is going to hurt like hell after without them. He may give me Antibiotics when i'm there for afterwards, so do i take or not, will Pau d Arco suffice i wonder.

So i'm not sure what to do either. I'll probably take some Arnica before and after, and see how it goes.
