I have a dedicated journal I use to record any progress in my health (recovery from candidiasis). I record everything that can be construed as progress. Even completing a week of antifungals is progress. Any improvement in underlying symptoms is progress.
I use this journal to help me retain a positive perspective on recovery. I no longer have goals such as "defeat Candida by the end of the year". I now focus on the little things I am doing now to improve my health, and trying to appreciate any progress I make.
